The Badger arrived safely in India:
"I am at the hotel, and I am fine. I got all my bags and things are good. India is just as I left it." 1-20-07
AND
We had so much fun at the Texans vs Colts game last week and the horrible Texans even won! It was a wet and dreary day filled with lots of walking and beer. Hope TXMagpie is feeling better! Here's our after photo.
Fiberglass Badger and I went to the Inaugural Texas Bowl last night. Rutgers wiped out Kansas State but it was very well attended by both teams and neutral fans like ourselves. We parked downtown and jumped on the MetroRail to Reliant after a few brews at the Flying Saucer. It's 2 bucks per person and fun to pass all that traffic on a train! The ride back was a bit longer due to an accident on the track. We never saw it, since you really can't see anything that is in front or behind you.
Here is the latest excerpt from Fiberglass Badger in India:

I have been playing with several stations like The Rolling Stones, The Smiths and Frank Sinatra.
But, you can make a station on a song title too! Green-eyed Lady by Sugarloaf is one of my 70's favs. It's been pandoring some pretty interesting stuff.
Thanks for the web tip TXMP.
So even if you are not a tennis fan, you have to pull for Agassi.
Here’s the tale of the tape, courtesy the ATP:
Age: Agassi 36, Becker 25.
ATP Ranking: Agassi 39, Becker 112.
Titles: Agassi 60 (8 majors), Becker 0.
U.S. Open record: Agassi 79-18, Becker 2-0 (the kid’s got a perfect record).
Record in five-set matches: Agassi 27-22, Becker 0-1.
Career tiebreak record: Agassi 204-160, Becker 4-0 (another advantage!).
2006 tiebreak record: Agassi 6-3, Becker 4-0.
And, one more time: No, Benjamin is not related to Boris. Doesn’t even know him.
So, we are planning our Thanksgiving voyage to Nebraska and Fiberglass Badger suggests we stop at "some sporting event" on the way. I discovered the Chiefs are playing the Raiders in KC on 11-19-06, searched ebay for tickets, found some and told him so he could win the bid!
I took this picture in Marysville, Kansas in 2004.
Today, I browsed and selected it for my desktop.
That was before the KC tickets...hooray football.
Oh, and that Pony Express deal was pretty cool too.
Yea, my eyes are closed, as per usual ;-) read more
